The GOLD SERVICE will include the following:

 

- briefing stage

- sketch plan stage with feasibility studies

- detailed design stage

- building documentation stage

- contract administration stage

 

A short summary of these stages are:

 

Briefing stage - writing up all your requirements for the project to ensure all information

relevant to an optimum design solusion is available before the design process begins.

 

Sketch plan stage - the preparation of sketches which addresses all the most important

issues from the brief directly and establishes the consept design.

 

Detailed design stage - once the concept design is approved, work begins on finalising

details to your satisfaction ready for documentation.  Coordination with consultants, should

they be required, for the project; i.e.structural & mechanical engineer, surveyor, geotechnical

engineer, etc. 

 

Building documentation stage - converting design drawings (intended to be understood by

the owner) into construction drawings, including basic finishes and materials selections

(i.e. floor coverings & external finishes) as well as full dimensions and notes, to a scale of

1:100, suitable for building approval and construction.  Obtaining accurate comparative prices

and   submission of the project to Council and coordination to obtain approval.

 

Contract Administration - your building contract is administered for you by someone with

better experience and knowledge in the building process than you may have.
